Mildred Irwin

Mildred Irwin, age 77, of Bellevue, Washington, formerly of Pinckneyville, died in her sleep at 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2004.
Mildred was born March 14, 1926 in Red Bud, the daughter of Theodore and Mary (Bommerscheim) Enzenauer.  She was united in marriage to George Arkell Irwin in Pinckneyville on January 21, 1950.  Mildred worked as a registered nurse for Pinckneyville Community Hospital until she retired.  She was also a homemaker.  She was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America.
She is survived by her children, Mary Irwin and Georgia Irwin, both of Bellevue, Wash., Edward Irwin, Charles Irwin and Ted Irwin, all of Dallas, Tex., Theresa (Irwin) Horn of Austin, Tex., Carolyn (Irwin) Beebe of Lake Forest, Calif.; sons-in-law, Charlie Horn and Murray Beebe; grandchildren, Kyle, Grayson and Trinity Horn and several brothers and sisters-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, George Irwin in August 1977.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 27 in the St. Bruno Catholic Church in Pinckneyville with Father Jim Van Oss officiating.  Interment was in the St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery in Pinckneyville.
Friends called at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville on Thursday, February 26 from 5 until 9 p.m. and then on Friday from 8 until 10:30 a.m.  The Rosary was said at 10 a.m. on Friday morning.
